1. Data we do NOT collect directly

The QR Code Generator is a free, no-sign-up tool. All QR code generation happens locally in your browser. Specifically:

• We do not collect your name, address, email, phone number or other personal identifiers.
• We do not track your location, IP address or device to identify you personally (analytics data is anonymous).
• We do not log your QR codes or generation patterns at an individual level.
• We do not send QR data to remote servers (all generation is local).

2. Cookies and analytics (with your consent)

When you visit this site you can accept or reject the use of analytics and marketing cookies. If you accept, we use the following services:

• Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — anonymous traffic analytics (page views, referrers, approximate country). Cookies: _ga, _ga_<container-id> (2-year duration). Provider: Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC (transfer to the US under EU-US Data Privacy Framework / UK IDTA). Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
• Mautic — Liberty Dreams' own marketing tracking (self-hosted at libertydreams.co.uk). Cookies: mtc_id, mtc_sid. Policy: libertydreams.co.uk/privacy-policy.

If you reject, no analytics or marketing cookies are installed. The only strictly necessary cookie is apps_consent, which stores your choice (accept/reject) for 365 days. This cookie is exempt from consent under Recital 32 of the ePrivacy Directive.

Lawful basis: consent (UK GDPR art. 6.1.a + PECR). You can change your choice at any time via the "Manage cookies" link in the footer, or by deleting the apps_consent cookie in your browser.

3. QR code content

The content of the QR codes you generate (URLs, contact details, Wi-Fi credentials, etc.) stays on your device. We do not transmit the QR content to our servers.

4. Children

The QR Code Generator is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children. As a free utility with no account requirement, age verification does not apply.

5. Changes to this policy

If in the future any functionality is introduced that does collect data (for example, account-based history), this policy will be updated visibly before the change.

6. Legal basis and jurisdiction

The QR Code Generator is published by Liberty Dreams LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom. Data processing is based on user consent under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

For users in the European Union, processing is based on Article 6.1(a) of the GDPR (consent) and the data minimisation principle applies.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, data portability, withdraw consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

To exercise any of these rights, write to tickets@libertydreams.co.uk with the subject "Privacy request". We will respond within one calendar month as required by Article 12(3) UK GDPR.
