1. Acceptance
By installing or using Anchor Scope (the "Application"), you accept these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Application.
2. Service description
Anchor Scope is a general-purpose nautical calculator that helps estimate suitable anchor chain length and anchoring depth based on parameters manually entered by the user (boat length, bottom type, wind category, etc.).
The Application:
- Works fully offline on your device.
- Requires no account, sign-up or login.
- Does not store data on remote servers.
- Does not include in-app purchases, premium tiers, or paid content.
3. Nautical disclaimer — use at your own risk
Safe anchoring depends on multiple factors the Application cannot evaluate: actual seabed conditions, presence of submerged obstacles, local weather conditions, currents, tides, anchor condition and weight, chain length and type, specific vessel behaviour, etc.
The results provided by the Application are indicative estimates only. Before anchoring you must:
- Consult up-to-date nautical charts and notices to mariners.
- Check weather and tide conditions at the moment of anchoring.
- Verify actual bottom conditions and the presence of other moorings.
- Use your judgement and, if in doubt, skip the anchorage or anchor with extra margin.
Liberty Dreams LTD accepts no responsibility for damage, loss, grounding, collision or any nautical incident resulting from the use of the Application's results.
4. Licence to use
Liberty Dreams LTD grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Application on your devices for personal nautical use. Not permitted:
- Reselling, redistributing or sublicensing the Application.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling or extracting source code beyond what applicable law allows.
- Commercial use without written authorisation from Liberty Dreams LTD.
5. Privacy, cookies and data
The Application does not send personal data to any server. If you accept the consent banner, we use Google Analytics 4 and Mautic for analytics and marketing. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
6. Advertising and tracking
The Application uses analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) and marketing tracking (Mautic) only if you consent via the banner shown on your first visit. You can accept all, reject all, or change your preference later by deleting the apps_consent cookie in your browser. AdMob (Android app ads) is pending activation in future versions.
7. Updates
Liberty Dreams LTD may release updates to the Application to fix bugs, improve features or adapt to new platform requirements (Google Play). Updates are governed by these same Terms unless expressly stated otherwise.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Application is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Liberty Dreams LTD does not warrant that the Application is error-free or that its operation will be uninterrupted.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. For users in the European Union, the mandatory provisions of EU consumer law also apply.
Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of the United Kingdom, without prejudice to consumer rights to bring proceedings in the courts of their habitual residence.

Liberty Dreams LTD may update these Terms. The date of the last update appears at the bottom of this document. If changes are material, we will notify in the Application or on the Google Play listing before they take effect.
